When I first put this course together, my goal was to create an inviting and inclusive curriculum which anyone can be a part of. The course has been meticulously structured to progressively build confidence, skill and knowledge as a comedy writer. We start with the basics of the history of comedy, comedic structure and understanding different comedy styles; before moving on to developing characters, stories and scripts. You'll find that the modules have been set up to ensure a smooth and engaging learning experience that'll keep you laughing and learning. By the end, you'll be able to not only craft a solid punchline but also understand the nuances that make comedy writing such an art form.
